Where's the growth, where's the value?
What do our fund managers think?
A year ago, markets around the world were wrestling with the implications of 'The Great Unwind', the synchronised de-leveraging of balance sheets by banks, companies and individuals.
By March 2009, investors began to believe that coordinated government and central bank intervention had averted their worst fears, and since then the combination of huge injections of liquidity and slow economic recovery has produced a very powerful move in world markets.
Key questions for investors at the beginning of 2010 are:
- what has been the impact of QE and what happens when it ends?
- have markets got ahead of themselves?
- what strategies are fund managers planning?
To answer these questions, our seminars will once again introduce extracts from video interviews with our Henley-based fund managers and our Chief Economist, who will identify where they now see the risks and opportunities in bond and equity markets.
